I'm co-modding this amazing Iron Man fandom community that has been around for a few years now. To get the activity back up, we will be hosting weekly events and recc's. The community is full of great fan material and wonderful people. Check it out, even if it's just to take a gander at our new layout!

My name is Lady_S over there and I hope to see you soon! :)
This is just a random ramble of thoughts I have on my Pepper costumes.

Since I cut and dyed my hair darker, I needed a wig for Pepper. I kind of hate the idea of having a wig for it since I've never see anyone who can find a good enough wig (except for rabidpotato's). Of course, looking through my old pics, it's not like my real hair ever held those curls anyway. Le sigh.

But anyway, I went this wig shop in Hollywood on Saturday. It's a really nice one and I figured that I don't mind spending a little extra money to have a nicer wig. It's not human hair, but it's not out of a bag, either.

It needs to be trimmed cause it's a little too long and it hasn't been styled yet, but here's the wig I got:

I'm still not thrilled. It obviously looks like a wig, but it'll work until my hair grows back out (which by the way, I do love my new hairstyle).

Also, when I took this, I realized that I really want to re-do this dress. I just hate this fabric. It's not stretchy so it looks baggy on me and it photographs royal blue when it's supposed to look more periwinkle. Maybe I'll take a trip to the fabric district and see if I can find something better.

In the meantime, I'm slowly putting together a new sequel outfit. But it's a slow effort since there's no con coming up soon that I need it for.
The awesome site [link] just uploaded some of my Tony and Pepper fan vids. You can check them out at the link below (my name is Lady S there), but you do have to create an account in order to view them. Hope you like them!

The awesome people over at www.ComicImpact.com have named me their cosplay girl of the month for November!

But you should also check out the previous girls. Many of them are friends of mine and are all super talented!
Trying to find something to do Sunday night at Dragon*Con? Come to the Last Hurrah party at the Mariott ballroom starting at 10pm.

What's so special about this party? It will be featuring Tony Stark and the Ironettes!! Come party with us as we say farewell to D*C 2010. We have a few surprises lined up including a chance to see us do the Ironette dance!

I will update this post as I get more information on it. Hope to see you there!

**No, RDJ will not be there, lol.
It's a week until the con, so you know what that means. Here's my costume schedule!

Ironette: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Nights (yes, I'm bringing the Fabreeze!)

Pepper Potts: Friday (Maybe not all day)

Schoolgirl Marauder: the Parade (I'll be tied to the WPE truck!)

Madame Masque or Rescue: Saturday for the World Record thing and the Marvel shoot

Rescue: Sunday for a photo shoot with Judy at 4.

I will also be bringing Ginny Weasley. Everything else will be played by ear.
I'm getting really excited about Dragon*Con finally. Still have lots of repairs and upgrades to make on my costumes. SDCC was really just a test run, especially for Ironette. I'd have to say, even with my Rescue armor in the mix, it's my Ironette that I'm most excited about.

It's a project that's been in the works for a year now, and while I don't want to reveal too much, I just  gotta say: If you enjoyed what you saw Ironette wise at SDCC, then baby, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

I feel like doing Iron Babe for the past two years has been leading up to this moment. Hopefully this is something that Iron Man fans won't forget and will be referring to for years to come. :D
  • Listening to: Shoot To Thrill - AC/DC
I'm sorry to sound like such a noob, but perhaps someone can help me out. What's the deal with the llama badges??
Comic Con is nearing, so I thought I'd post my costume schedule. If anyone sees me and I don't see you, please say hi. I love meeting new people! :)

Thursday: Ironette Dancer (also Thursday night for parties)
Friday: Madame Masque
Saturday: Morning - Pepper Potts (Monaco scene in Iron Man 2), Afternoon - Surprise costume
Sunday: Pepper or Ironette is I feel like dressing that day

And this is all just a basic schedule. I can really change whenever I want according to photoshoots and such.

So, who's going and if you are, what are you going to wear? What are you excited to see?
Ok internet, I need your opinions! SDCC is coming up and I need to touch up my hair. I will be costuming Pepper Potts again (the only costume that my hair color is an issue) and right now, it's too dark for her. But the dark also looks better on me than the light. But the light is perfect for Pepper and it's not like I can't go back to dark after D*C. So which do you think I should go with?

So I've been a member here for 3 years now and still have yet to really use this site. I think I always felt that it was best for drawings and costumes that people made. I only made a few of my costumes.

But I think that now is the time to get more involved with Deviant Art. Especially since I'm more involved with all my other sites.

So hello everyone! Hopefully you will be seeing more of me.
